Two Grand Prix victories for Italy in Mannheim & Valkenswaard

The CSI3* MVV Energie Grand Prix of Mannheim went to Italy’s Emilio Bicocchi on 10 – year old Ares in a class of 45 riders & horses, with 7 of those combinations in the Jump – off. Bicocchi raced around the 1m60 track to clinch the top spot, followed closely by Swedish Henrik Von Eckermann and the fiesty Gotha FRH and in third Gert – Jan Bruggink and Vampire.

Piergiorgio Bucci is another Italian who won a Grand Prix, and that would be the CSI2* of Valkenswaard, with 10 – year old Cuarta in a total of 71 riders & horses up for the win, and a heavty 20 combinations in the Jump off. In second place, USA’s Hilary Mc Nerny on Z Acodate DDL and in third Karel Cox on Cor van de Wateringhoeve.
