Precious embryo of legendary Hickstead for sale !

Embryoauction.com has again secured a remarkable item. For sale now is an embryo of the showjumping phenomenon Hickstead out of the full sister of Quod’Coeur de la Loge, the stallion which on Saturday 16 April won the Global Champions Tour in Mexico City under Roger-Yves Bost. Quod’Coeur de la Loge also won three 1.50/1.55m classes last year in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Madrid and contributed to France’s second place in the FEI Nations Cup in Calgary.

The relevant sister is called Tsarina de la Loge, who descends from Ideal de la Loge, the stallion on which ‘Bosty’ also won two Global Grand Prix (including the finals in Abu Dhabi in 2011) and started in the EC in Windsor 2009. Tsjarina herself was placed at 1.20m level. Her dam Fana de la Loge (Tenor de la Cour) is a half-sister of the 1.60m level showjumping horse Lolita de la Loge, the internationally placed Canasta de la Loge and the licensed stallions Messire de la Loge and Heureka de la Loge.

To this family, which distinguishes itself by its intelligence, showjumping power and hardiness, the genes of the very careful Hickstead were added. Hickstead grew into a sensational horse under Eric Lamaze. This son of Hamlet x Ekstein won individual gold and team silver at the Hong Kong Olympics, individual bronze in the WC in Lexington and wrote the heaviest GPs in the world to his name, such as those of Calgary, Aachen, Rome and La Baule.
