In a competition over two rounds, with Arab League qualifying points to the world cup finals with fences starting 1m40 up to 1m55 according to the guidelines of the FEI World Cup Qualifying rounds, Mohamed Elboraie and the Kannan daughter Daina were the only Double Clear rounders out of the 27 starters.

Mohamed Talaat and Partner performed elegantly as well, but 1 time fault in each of the two rounds got them to finish in runners up position
