Cassio Rivetti and Vivant out of the Europeans

Ukraine’s Cassio Rivetti and Vivant holding the second position ahead of Today’s individual final at the Europeans in Aachen, will not be able to compete as Vivant did not pass the horse inspection taking place yesterday’s afternoon.

“We are very sad about the devastating news which we have just learnt before the final.

I really don’t understand this decision.
Vivant trotted at today’s vet check the same as at the first one.
I don’t know what criteria were used at this vet check.

Yesterday the horse jumped very well and he had no problems.
Additionally, others horses which trotted less well passed today’s vet check.

I would like to thank the whole Ukraine team and my partners who are supporting during this difficult period.

Vivant is in great shape.
We will be back competing on the showground very soon.”
